The second possibility would be to access by bus of private carriers, which travel from the bar "Fis" on the opposite side of the bus station. Take the bus to go to Kuźnice and get off at Circus of Kuźnice, and then enter into B.Czecha Street,by which there are jumps.

Great Krokiew - is undoubtedly the most well-known jump not only in Poland but also abroad. In the World Cup competitions here attract crowds of supporters, who make up the unique atmosphere of sporting holidays.

On the construction of Great Krokwia be decided when an existing Jaworzynka proved to be too small in relation to the dynamic development of ski jumping. North Slope of Krokwia was leased from hr. Zamoyski, the project took on oversight and Eng. Karol Stryjeński. First results on the new facility were disappointed, but quickly began very good jumps. Zakopane organised three times in World Cup skiing classical (for the first time in 1929) and twice winter Universal Contest.

In addition on the Great Krokiew was held the World Cup and Continental Cup. Since the success of Adam Małysz jumps of Zakopane are constantly upgraded - successively transfer point K on a full 120 meters, the construction of a new tower of the judiciary, the exchange of surface called ?igelit? on smaller jumps, setting up lighting, construction of new premises for jumpers, and - in summer 2004 ? putting of ?Igelit? on the Great Krokiew. Thus, the largest jumping in Poland has become a very modern facility. It is now really high jumping, allowing for safe jumping, even at a distance 140 m. It has also the advantage that is well protected from the wind. Another plus of Krokwia is unusual occasions. There are so steep as to ensure a good view of all sitting viewers, and their original placement allows jumpers to watch from the sidelines, during the flight.
