One of the longer and more tiring trips. The beginning of the route is in the hotel Redyk, from where you must go to Zakopane.

There are two possibilities to arrive at Giewont. One of them leads from the ski jumps, in the way of Regle and further through Strążyska Valley. In contrast, the second route begins at the lower station of line-railway at Kasprowy Wierch, and through the valley of Kondratowa.

The route leading through the Valley of Kondratowa is easier, although a little longer. By choosing this route, you must first get the bus to Kuźnice - private bus carriers, or your own cars for parking at the guesthouse Orava, where you can go to Kuźnice by foot (route takes about 20 min.).

Giewont - measured 1895 m above sea level and this is the most recognized peak of the Polish Tatry, because of its shape, which recalls sleeping knight. It is the same peak of the most identified with Zakopane.

By choosing to travel by Kondracka Valley, by Kuźnice you should go next to the railway station in the lower page of Kalatówki Glade. Kalatówki especially at the beginning of May looks beautiful when all full with violet blooming crocuses. We are going by the bottom edge and follow the signs in the right direction of Kondratowa Hall. The route now leads a thick forest, a convenient way up the hill. On the Kondratowa Glade, 1333 meters above sea level, there is a shelter where you can eat something and sleep overnight. Next we continue approach towards Przełęcz Kondracka, and then pass Przelecz Wyżnia Kondracka, from where it is only 30 minutes to enter the summit, where the trail leads to the Giewont, from where view extends to Zakopane and the Tatry Mountains. On the way back we can go the same route or choose a path leading to the valley of Strążyska.

Then it will come down from the mountain, and we finish a tour near the ski jumps.
