Zab - Chochołów - Chocholowska Valley

This is a longer trip, not a difficult but very interesting.

From the hotel you can go by car in the direction of Czarny Dunajec (above crossroads should be passed straight).We stop in a village Chochołów.

Chochołów - is the largest tourist attraction in the neighborhoods. This lively open-air museum housing a regional monuments class zero - attracts crowds of tourists from all over the world. Pens were built at the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth century, with wooden logs, in an old, highland style. One hundred twenty of them are covered by conservation care. Besides, you can see: Uprising Museum of Chocholow located in the oldest hut, parish church, built in the neo-Gothic style, a private regional chamber in the house number 28.

From Chochołow you need to go towards Zakopane, up to stop "Chocholowska Valley intersections. We go as a sign informs to the Chochołowska Valley. After reaching the Siwa Glade awaits us yet-hour walk to Huciska Glade. Route also can be made by a tourist train (runs every 30 minutes, the first departure of 8:00AM). Here begins Chochołowska Valley trail.

Chocholowska Valley - is the longest and largest valley on the Polish side of the Tatry. It is 35 square km and nearly 10 km long. In 2 / 3 is covered with forest, mainly spruces. It looks the most beautiful in spring, when all is covered with blooming crocuses.

The heart of the valley is Chocholowska Glade, which is the largest shelter in the whole Polish Tatry. In the near distance from the shelter there is a chapel of St. John the Baptist.

After the pilgrimage, you can rest in a Shelter, and eat a hot meal and go on your way back.
